NBC Didn't Do Kelly or Notre Dame Right

Most Notre Dame fans who watched the so called "worldwide leader in sports" Tuesday evening -- got their fill of clip after clip of Brian Kelly going "postal" on his football team.  The clips, courtesy of our television partner (NBC), show our man Brian very frustrated with the actions of a number of 18 - 22 year old young men on his team.

Now, did NBC need to continually show Coach Kelly and his "super freak meltdowns?"  I don't think so.

If I'm Father Jenkins I'm having an "off the record" conversation with whomever is running NBC Sports these days about their portrayal of our football program.  NBC should not treat their football partner in this manner -- PERIOD -- unless they feel it's in their best interest to assist in the take down of Notre Dame football.

You can be quite certain that ESPN had production meetings this morning -- about assigning a minimum of two cameras to track Kelly on the sideline this Saturday night in Ann Arbor.  You can also bet they didn't talk about the need to point a single camera at Brady Hoke in these meetings.

I guess Notre Dame needs to get some tips from the folks at the DNC to see how they control their narrative so well with NBC...
